Hi Chappel - As the editor of NEC, I first wondered whether this was an appropriate article for NEC. Condemning a particular religion is not quite in line with what NEC is all about. But the more I read, the more interesting it was as an alternative story to the status quote.
In particular, I recently heard this interview with Paul Anthony Wallis, a minister of some kind who says that if we replace the word "God" in the Old Testament with "Alien" or "ET" that suddenly the entire Old Testament makes sense. Very interesting idea...
