Exactly. As the Korean Zen Master, Soen Sa Nim said: “There is no right or wrong, but right is right and wrong is wrong.”
Spirituality is living both the inner-self knowing and the outer-ego experience, *at the same time*. It is not one or the other, but both. We have our outer emotions and impulses that we act upon. That is our dharma or life purpose. And that is as perfect as is the inner silence and oneness that never really acts on anything. If we only have spirituality, then that can easily become spiritual bypassing. If we only have outer ego, then that is almost always separation, which increases suffering.
Essentially, everything in our 3D experience remains the same. The ego is still there, doing what it does. But the main “witnessing” of the story/play/movie/dream/manifest reality is not the ego. It is the true or deeper self.
Thanks for the comment. I will look at the article again and see if I can make that clearer.
Also - my use of the word "story" here was meant to give the impression that we can change the narrative -- away from the nightly news storyline and toward a New Earth reality story or timeline. We can do that spiritually (which I think is more powerful), but we can also do that in the 3D reality (which will ultimately be impacted by our spiritual work anyway).
